Languages (ES / EN / DE)

Talenkai separates UI language from contact / content language. Getting both right avoids mismatched emails and bad match gates.

UI language (you)

Set your preferred interface language in Profile / account to Spanish, English, or German. Menus, buttons, and help labels follow that choice. Each user can work in their own UI language inside the same company.

Contact languages (candidates & jobs)

Languages on jobs and candidates use normalized codes (ES, EN, DE, …). Matching uses them as criteria/gates. If a job requires German and the candidate profile has no DE, scores suffer — even if you personally use the English UI.

Outbound email language

Drafts and templates resolve in ES / EN / DE. The system picks a language from the match/contact context when possible. Customize all three tabs under Settings → Email → Templates so every contact language has a proper subject and body.

Public jobs

The public jobs portal can present roles in multiple languages for candidates. Keep published texts consistent with the languages you actually staff.

Practical rule

  • UI = how you work.

  • Profile languages = how matching and templates behave.
Never assume they are the same.
