Email stuck in review or not sending

Outbound mail stops for three different reasons. Identify which one you have.
A. Still in review (Queue mode)
Default send mode is Queue. Drafts wait in the Outbox until someone approves and clicks Send.
→ Open Outbox, review, send.
→ If you expected immediate SMTP, check Settings → Email → Send mode for that email type.
B. SMTP failure
Host, port (587/465), user, password/app password.
From address allowed by the provider.
Account sending limits / relay restrictions.
After a failed Direct send, the message usually remains in the queue for retry — open it, fix config, send again.
C. Draft content / recipient
Empty recipient, blocked address, or incomplete draft can block operators from sending. Fix the message, then send.
Also check
User signature present (professional close; not usually a hard failure).
Recipient spam/quarantine if SMTP reports success but they “never got it”.
Rate limits after many sends.
Prove SMTP
Send one short test from Outbox to an address you control. If that fails, fix Connection before blaming templates.
