From won match to contract & timesheet

When a match is won, the commercial work is not finished. Talenkai carries the thread into contract and monthly timesheets.

Typical sequence

  1. Mark the match as won on the kanban / match workflow.

  2. Create or open the contract linked to that placement (candidate, client/agency, rates, dates as your process requires).

  3. Activate the engagement so the contractor can use the employee portal when they have an employee user linked to the candidate.

  4. Each month, the contractor submits a timesheet (days/hours).

  5. You review and validate in Talenkai.

  6. Track billing status (pending review vs confirmed fee) so the dashboard reflects reality.

What recruiters do vs contractors

RoleResponsibility

CRM admin / user

Contract data, validation, billing progress, chasing missing sheets

Employee (portal)

Submit timesheets for the active contract

Fee on the dashboard

Confirmed vs pending monthly fee helps you see cash process, not only pipeline vanity metrics. Keep timesheet validation current at month-end.

If the contractor cannot log in

They need an employee user linked to the correct candidate, active password, and an active contract. See Roles and permissions and Timesheets for contractors.
